Mariner

Danny Lee is a Senior Wealth Advisor at Mariner. He loves opportunities to think outside the box and help strategize with clients to help them achieve and maximize their financial aspirations. His philosophy for building life-long relationships with clients is simply to treat them as if they were one of his own family members. 

He started his investment career at Charles Schwab as an active trader and Associate Private Client Advisor where he actively traded, developed, and implemented financial/investment plans for clients. He has earned his CFP®  and is an Enrolled Agent (EA), which is the highest credential the IRS awards and grants the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. 

Danny attended the University of Northern Colorado, where he received a bachelor's degree in business finance.

Xavier Lewis
Lotus group Advisors

Xavier Lewis, armed with dual degrees in Finance and Management, started his career in banking before spending nine years as a Wealth Planner at Trilogy Financial. Now at LotusGroup Advisors, he's all about providing financial clarity, investing wisely, and making sure his clients' money is working as hard as they do.

When he's not building financial game plans, Xavier is busy making an impact in the business community. He serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce, where he previously led the Young Professionals Board (2020-2023). 

A true Colorado native, Xavier is a die-hard local sports fan and an avid golfer. Off the course, he loves traveling and discovering great food and wine with his wife, Alex. Whether he's fine-tuning investment strategies or perfecting his short game, Xavier is always focused on helping people win—both financially and in life.

Mark Milligan
SDR Ventures

Mark Milligan is a Senior Advisor, Wealth Management with SDR Ventures and an independent consultant in the financial services industry, recognized for his ability to connect people, firms, and ideas across the wealth management and advisory landscape. Over the course of more than four decades in financial services, Mark has been affiliated with organizations including Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Asset Management, Envestnet, and TD Ameritrade Institutional, where he served in leadership within Managed Account Services.

Very early in his career, Mark was a Financial Advisor on Denver's historic 17th Street, launching what became a lifelong commitment to both Colorado and the evolution of the financial advisory profession. Today, his work centers on helping financial advisors, RIAs, and business owners expand their strategic capacity through relationships, succession and exit planning dialogue, and access to specialized expertise. Through his affiliation with SDR Ventures, Mark is particularly focused on helping advisors better understand the opportunities surrounding lower middle market business owners, liquidity events, and sell-side advisory solutions. Drawing on a career-spanning network of respected industry leaders and innovators, Mark is passionate about bringing forward thoughtful ideas and collaborative strategies that can strengthen an advisor's value proposition and deepen client relationships.

Mark's interests include mid-century automobiles and architecture, along with tending the eight-acre mountain forest he and his wife Cynthia call home south of Breckenridge, Colorado. Together, they have three grown children and six grandchildren.

Logan Richard is a Certified Financial Planner at Denver Private Wealth Management. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2022 and has been a part of the company ever since. This is Logan's 3rd year in the COFPA and 1st on the Board of Directors. Logan's role for the COFPA is to be the Director of Partnership and support all of our valuable partners and guide the organization to success.

Marcie is the Advisory Solutions Consultant for the western half of the country and resides in Arvada, Colorado. 

She has been with Transamerica for 15 years and provides an educational process to fee-based advisors, to assist them in creating a simple solution to help ensure a low-cost, tax-deferred benefit, for clients during retirement. 

Marcie's philosophy is that success is found in honesty, character, and integrity. 

As a Volunteer Allied Professional, her job is to support the financial planning industry by assisting in the annual planning process and coordination of member events throughout the year.

Matthew Lengel, CFP®
Summit Point Capital Management

Matthew Lengel has spent over 10 years in the industry and is currently an owner of a wealth management firm acting as a lead advisor and various other functions. He enjoys being deeply involved in the Denver community as he works to meet people and impact lives through helping them with their overall financial picture. Some of the ways Matthew has been involved in the local community include:

– President (Chairperson)/Education Chair of the Colorado Financial Planning Association (COFPA)
– Co-Chairman of the Associate Board of Directors for ACE Scholarships
– 2024 NAIOP Developing Leader of the Year and currently serves on the Membership Committee for NAIOP’s Colorado Chapter

Prior to his current role, he worked for Kathmere Capital Management as a Wealth Advisor. He was tasked with opening a Denver branch of the Philadelphia based firm. Matthew believes advancing his knowledge base to best serve his clients is critical. This is why he is so involved in the leadership of COFPA, pushing the CFP Credentials forward in the Colorado community and meeting like-minded advisors.
